Watch Escape Halloween
We found no official livestream announced for 2026, and the official YouTube channel shows no Escape sets for 2024 or 2025. Insomniac's TV events page lists Escape Halloween 2026, but we could not confirm what that listing covers. Fan-posted and artist-posted 2025 set recordings exist, so expect clips after the weekend rather than a guaranteed live feed.

There is no camping, so book a hotel or arrange a shuttle, Metrolink or a ride home. Parking is free, and entry requires photo ID.

- Rideshare drop-off is next to Big Lots, off S. E Street. Expect long waits and dynamic pricing.

- FREE general parking in multiple lots around the venue, well lighted and patrolled during event hours; parking is at the owner's risk. From San Fernando Valley/Pasadena: 210 East to 215 South, exit 44A (5th St) or 43 (2nd St) for Purple, Blue and Green Lots; avoid exit 41. From L.A./Riverside: 10 or 91 East to 215 North, exit 43 (2nd St) or 44A (5th St).[13]
- Lot opening times: Blue (Railway) 3:00 PM; Green (Baseball) 3:00 PM; Purple A (City Hall Parking Structure) 4:00 PM; Purple B (Carousel Mall + Structure) 4:00 PM; Yellow (Triangle) 3:00 PM; Pink 2:30 PM; Orange West 3:00 PM; Orange East 3:00 PM.[13]
- Premier Parking is at the Pink Lot directly outside the entrance (closest parking, first to exit). Pink Lot (Premier, ADA & Skydeck) is open 2:30PM-6AM. Directions: 210 East to 215 South to 10 East, exit 73B (Waterman St North), about 1.5 miles, left on Central Ave, left on Sierra, right on Benedict.[13]
- Street parking is not recommended; surrounding residential and business areas are tow-away zones. RVs, cargo vehicles, box trucks, panel vans, sprinter vans and camper vans are not permitted in any Insomniac parking lot. Vehicles are subject to search and must vacate the lot each day at close or be towed.[13]
- Official Escape Halloween City Shuttle picks up in DTLA/USC, Ontario, Downtown Riverside and more and drives to the festival.[5,14]
- Metrolink offers an exclusive festival pass sold in the Metrolink app.[5]
- Uber/Lyft riders should expect longer waits, dynamic pricing and product unavailability due to very high demand. The rideshare area is next to Big Lots; enter off S. E Street, behind Target.[13]
- Taxis and guest drop-offs/pickups use the designated Guest Drop-Off and Pickup location next to Big Lots (enter off S. E Street, behind Target), open for the entire event.[13]
- An airport map shows the closest airports.[11]
- No camping, and sleeping in cars in the lot is not allowed.
- Insomniac lists partner hotels with discounted rates.
- Cars left in the lot outside festival hours are towed.
- 18+ to enter, 21+ for alcohol and VIP. Photo ID is required and digital IDs are not accepted.
- No re-entry. Entry searches are TSA-style.

- Must be 18+ to enter and 21+ for alcohol/VIP. No one under 18 is admitted, with or without a guardian. Photo ID required.[11,15]
- Accepted: US government-issued driver's license or ID with photo and date of birth; US or foreign passport; foreign driver's license/ID with color photocopy of passport (not valid for 21+ wristband); temporary DMV renewal documents only with passport or expired license. Not accepted: digital IDs, school ID, consular ID, birth certificate, expired ID, photocopies (except as noted).[15]
- No re-entry or ins and outs. Entry is allowed with a valid unscanned ticket until an hour before the end of the event.[11]
- Cashless event: credit, debit, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay and Android Pay accepted. Cash can be exchanged onsite for a prepaid card.[16]
- Zero-tolerance drug policy; police work inside and outside the event. Entry involves a TSA-style search and full pat-down. Festival takes place rain or shine.[15]
- No refunds or exchanges; no sitting on designated dancefloor areas; no moshing, crowd-surfing or stage-diving; no unauthorized vendors, solicitations, handbills or giveaways; no posters or flyers inside or around the festival.[15]
- Clear bags up to 12"x6"x12" and non-clear or clear small clutch bags up to 6" x 9" are permitted. Hydration packs (clear or non-clear) with no more than two main compartments and one smaller compartment are allowed, empty on entry.[15]
- Allowed: deodorant, e-cigs/vapes, totems or decorated pool noodles, flags/banners/handmade signs (no corporate branding or hard flagpoles), glowsticks and LED costumes/jewelry/poi/hula hoops, non-professional cameras and handheld video devices under 6" (GoPro etc.), personal misting fans (bottle no larger than 1.5L, empty), non-expired physician-prescribed medication, reusable water bottles (empty), sealed intranasal naloxone.[15]
- Prohibited: aerosol products, balls/Frisbees, costumes resembling public safety or staff (incl. hi-vis vests), drones, drugs/paraphernalia, gas masks, glass/cans/cups/coolers, laser pointers and air horns, markers/pens/spray paint, massagers, outside food or beverages, over-the-counter medication, pets, professional photo/video/audio equipment, red light-up wands/lightsabers, stickers/flyers, tents/large umbrellas/chairs/blankets, toy guns/water guns/slingshots, weapons of any kind, wind chairs/sofas.[15]
- Camera policy: no photo pass needed for standard cameras with fixed, non-detachable lenses or handheld video devices under 6 inches; professional cameras are not permitted. Insomniac does not provide media or photo credentials to independent photographers or videographers.[11]
- Costume rules: no police, fire, security or medical look-alikes; no handcuffs; no glass or ceramic masks; no full-face makeup that makes you unrecognizable from your photo ID; no weapons or weapon-like props (whips, lightsabers, axes, swords, guns); no violent props such as crops, ropes, chains or tethers; no sharp metal spikes. Costumes should not misrepresent race, religion or cultural heritage.[15]
- Totem rules: maximum height 10 feet; lightweight material (foam, PVC, no solid metal); PVC, light wood or aluminum poles no thicker than 1 inch in diameter; inflatables must be deflated on entry; totems promoting illegal activity or hate speech not permitted.[15]
- Parking lot activities strictly prohibited: tailgating, camping/sleeping in vehicle, buying/selling tickets, vandalism, loitering, drinking alcohol, illegal drug use.[13]
- Toy Drive: bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $20+ on October 30 and/or 31 to receive a $20 beverage voucher (limit one per day; non-transferable; no cash value; restrictions may apply).[5]

- Accessibility: concrete/asphalt terrain with accessible routes; Accessibility Services Hub issues free accessibility wristbands onsite (no pre-registration, no accessibility ticket) plus one companion wristband; accessible entry lane; accessible viewing areas; limited accessible parking in the Pink Lot (state-issued placard required); service animals permitted (emotional support animals and pets are not); no wheelchair or scooter rentals; device charging at the hub (110-volt, 20 amp). Effective Communication requests (ASL, etc.) had a cutoff of September 30, 2026.[19]

Can I see a festival map ahead of time?

With a valid unscanned ticket you may enter until an hour before the end of the event.
Can I sleep in my car or park overnight?
No. Sleeping in cars in the festival lot is not permitted, and cars left in the lot during non-festival hours are towed at the owner's expense.
Can I rent a locker?
Yes. Lockers keep belongings secure and phones charged.
Is hanging posters or handing out flyers allowed?
No. Violators are banned from promoting at Insomniac events.
What if my ID is lost or expired?
Expired ID cards are accepted only with DMV renewal documentation. If the ID was lost or stolen, bring a government-issued interim license or passport.
