The 2027 line-up is not in the material yet. Past editions have mixed house veterans such as David Morales, Todd Terry and Kevin Saunderson with newer names like Jayda G and Eliza Rose.

Stages

UNO is the evening hub with three rooms, while Café Del Mar, The Ditch and boat parties cover daytime and sunset. The stage count has grown over the years, and 2025 had the most to date.

  • Malta is served by over 100 airports, and the festival site is reachable from most major European cities. UK flights are available from airports including Edinburgh, Bristol, Newcastle, Gatwick, Stansted and Heathrow.[8]

Defected Malta began in 2022 and reached its fifth edition in 2026, adding The Ditch in 2024 and Little Armier Beach in 2026.
