Let It Roll was founded in 2002, making this its 24th year.

Let It Roll is the biggest drum and bass festival on the planet, and it has stayed loyal to a single genre since it began as a 500-capacity Prague club night in 2002. The event grew through venues like Abaton and Harfa, went open-air in 2008 near Pardubice, then settled in 2015 onto the runways of a former military airfield in Milovice, where it built a reputation for huge themed stages and a yearly Opening Show first staged in 2013. At its peak the festival drew more than 25,000 people a day across roughly nine stages, all of them dedicated to drum and bass and its sub-genres. In 2025 the organizers, LETITROLL s.r.o., moved the summer edition to a new lakeside site at Lake Most after a decade in Milovice. The 2026 edition runs July 30 to August 1 over three nights at Lake Most, and for the first time the main stage hosts live performances every day. The bill is led by Chase and Status and Pendulum, with Netsky, Hybrid Minds, A.M.C, LTJ Bukem and Calibre among more than 70 acts. It remains the genre's flagship gathering, and a yearly pilgrimage for the international drum and bass community.

Let It Roll has a partial livestreaming history rather than a consistent year-on-year broadcast. The clearest live broadcast came in 2020, when the pandemic forced the main festival to be replaced by The Renegade Festival, a 1,000-capacity three-stage event that was streamed online and circulated on YouTube so the wider drum and bass audience could watch from home. The 2025 edition at Lake Most was promoted with an official LET IT ROLL LIVESTREAM event for the lakeside site. Outside of those, the festival's main output is post-event: it publishes full sets and official aftermovies on its YouTube channel each year, including 2023, 2024 and 2025 full-set playlists, rather than guaranteeing a complete live multi-stage stream. No confirmed details are available on whether the 2026 edition will be livestreamed.
It is the largest drum and bass festival in the world, drawing more than 25,000 attendees per day across roughly nine themed stages dedicated entirely to one genre.
Since 2013 each edition opens with a purpose-built Opening Show, a choreographed audiovisual production tied to that year's stage design rather than a single headliner set.
The festival ran from 2015 to 2024 on the runways of a former military airfield in Milovice before relocating to the lakeside Lake Most site in 2025.
For the 2026 edition the main stage hosts live band performances every day of the festival, including Pendulum, Fox Stevenson and Modestep, a first in the event's history.
The festival takes place at Lake Most in Czech Republic. It typically hosts crowds in the 30,000+ range across 3 days.
